When you talk to a network marketing prospect, it’s good to check with them and see what they are looking for, so you can help them achieve it. The more they feel you understand the advantages of network marketing businesses that they are specifically looking for, the stronger the relationship you will build with them. And nothing is as important to your MLM success as strong relationships.
So here are some common desires that you can check for in your prospects and your associates:
1. Desire for personal freedom.
You don’t have to ask permission to go to a conference with your child’s teacher. When you work for someone else, you must ALWAYS answer to them first. Breaking free from THAT is exhilarating.
2. Desire to spend more time at home with family.
Who are you responsible for? Kids? Elderly relatives? Pets? As you know, situations with family constantly come up that demand your time & attention. Asking for that time and getting it can be stressful on you. That stress is a thing of the past, once you’ve build your MLM income.
3. Desire to be their own boss.
When you work for an hourly wage, over 50% of the income you generate – and often WAY more than 50% – goes to the boss. Work for yourself, and it goes to YOU. Plus, you don’t have to listen to the boss anymore! Big incentive for a lot of people.
4. Desire to get up when they want to.
No commute. No traffic. A lot less stress. Get up late, have a leisurely cup of coffee, and THEN start your work day.
5. Desire to work at home – or wherever they want!
You can tend your own international business at home on the phone or on the internet … or even by watching a training on DVD. You can also go out anytime you want and visit local prospects or team members. And you can go to local (or distant) networking events of ANY kind, to make new contacts.
6. Desire to avoid big company headaches.
No overhead. No warehousing. No employees. No Workman’s Comp. No office rental. No accounts receivable. I’ll bet you can think of a bunch of items to add to THIS list.
7. Desire to work WHEN they want.

I’ve already discussed with you about all the necessary characteristics that you need, to become a successful associate and the sure fire steps to succeed in eBIZ.com Pvt Ltd. But many a times associates with big plans just never seem to get anywhere with them.
In this post I want to look at the four main reasons why associates fail to achieve their goals. I hope that some of these points might help to awaken you as to where you may have been going wrong.
1. Limited Faith
At times, when you fail to attain the things you are going for in life, it’s simply because you didn’t believe you could fulfill those desires. It could be your friends telling you that you can’t do something or your own beliefs based on past experiences. Either way, you would prove yourself and others right by failing to achieve what you wanted. If you start doubting your own potential, it will make it far more likely for you to give up on a goal and just move on to something else.
Solution: In order to succeed, you need to have a strong faith i.e. “The Triple F Factors”

2. Picking the Wrong Goal
The most basic and most vital element behind your Success are actually your Goals and yet many associates fail to identify the actual “WHY” for what they are doing. Wrong goals come in many formats, they could be:
- Things you’re trying to achieve because other people want you to
- Doing something just to impress others
- Focusing on something you don’t care if you achieve or not
Solution: Your goals are your biggest motivating factor and the ‘Why’ to everything you will do and that’s the reason why you should have a clear cut vision. Have a SMART Vision that you actually care to achieve no matter what. Choose your visions both in terms of financial gain as well as personal development.
3. Lack of Consistency
Many a times I see associates all passionate & fired up, on one week and carefree & casual on the other. It happens when we start to expect results way too quickly without putting in the necessary efforts in the first place. No matter how much skills and knowledge you may have but what is ultimately make you successful is your consistency.
Solution: The key here is to keep going. Once you’ve decided on your goal, don’t let anything get in the way. There may be times when ‘life’ distracts you as it always will, but once things are dealt with, get back on track. Realize the ‘Why’ to everything you do. Keep your goals clear and focus on managing your time.
4. No Short Term Targets
Some associates simply set themselves a goal and leave it at that. It’s something they have at the back of their mind and take action on whenever they remember. There’s no use in having a goal if you don’t lay out an action plan for yourself or at least some time-frame in which you would like to complete it.
Solution: While having long term goals is a must, its also required that you have short term targets without which you will fail to do any result oriented work Apply Mohit Sardana Ji’s concept of ‘Reverse Engineering’ and have challenging short term targets both for you and your associates.

SWOT Analysis – Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threat

A while back, I discussed with you about all the qualities you need to imbibe in yourself to become successful in eBIZ. But to know, where you need to improve, the first thing you need to do is Self Analysis and thats where SWOT Analysis comes into play.
SWOT analysis diagrams clearly show the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats that will help or harm your ability to reach your defined objective. Analyzing internal forces (Strengths/Weaknesses) and external forces (Opportunities/Threats) helps you to define strategies that will help you leverage positive forces and overcome obstacles in the course of reaching your objective.

To carry out SWOT Analysis, just make a table with 2 rows and 2 columns in your diary (like the above diagram) and answer the following questions and consider not only on a personal basis but also ask your uplines to share their opinion about you:
Strength:
- What do you do well?
- What do you do better than anyone else?
- What else do others see as your strength?
- What could you improve?
- What should you avoid?
- What else do others think as your weaknesses?
- How can you turn your strengths into your opportunities?
- What trends could help you?
- What other opportunities do you see?
- What threats do your weaknesses expose you to?
- What trends could harm you?
- What obstacles you face?
The basic idea over here is to focus on your strengths and minimize your weaknesses. You should have a SWOT Analysis done every month to see your progress on your Self Development. So go ahead and start doing a SWOT Analysis today.

Here’s a list of the virtues an associate must imbibe to become Successful in eBIZ. Always rate yourself according to these following characteristics and see to it that you keep on improving them with time. Make sure you forward this to all your associates.
1. Skillset (VGP2 ):
This is the most basic and the most important characteristic which should be the primary focus of every Associate to improve.
2. Mindset (Learning Attitude):
The next important element is to have a proper Mindset. What I mean by mindset is to have a very high and positive learning attitude without any ‘EGO’. Learn from your uplines, downlines and from every successful associate by Observing their good qualities only. Learn from every situation may it be a successful one or one where you failed, may it be from your or from other’s experience and try to improvise by discussing only the solutions.
3. Determination (Visions):
The secret behind every consistent effort is a strong determination which comes from planned and high Visions. Have both long-term and short-term visions and make short term targets based on your visions (Apply Mohit Sardana Ji’s Concept of Reverse Engineering).
Goal Setting is the first step to Goal Getting - which means that only target oriented work will give you best results which in turn will fuel your determination for even bigger Success.
